Here is a short diary meant to provoke some discussion. Let's ignore the source of these quotes to the extent we can. It would be boring to simply rant and rage about Power Line -- been there, done that, etc. But let's just use their comments excerpted here as a launching pad for some lively interchange.
According to Power Line's Paul Mirengoff, Barack Obama "is really scuffling, as baseball players used to say when they went into a tailspin." (ok, you can tell me what you think about Mirengoff ... but keep it short.)
Power Line says Obama got the death count in the Kansas tornado wrong by saying 9,988 out of 10,000 people died.
He then concludes:
Any candidate can make a mistake or two, but the most recent one in particular suggests that Obama may lack the staff support he needs to compete with the Hillary Clinton machine. ...
Team Obama may not be a match for team Hillary.
